Twenty5 has secured Planning Consent for the nationally important 130‑hectare Rivenhall Greenhouse project, delivering both a Section 73 Application to amend the underlying minerals permission and a full Planning Application for the new low‑carbon greenhouse complex.
Co‑located with the Indaver Integrated Waste Management Facility, the development will use recovered heat, electricity and CO₂ to produce up to 30,000 tonnes of fresh produce annually — equivalent to around 7.5% of current UK tomato imports. The £150m scheme will create over 400 direct jobs and establish Essex as a leading hub for sustainable, resilient domestic food production.
