Twenty5 Secures Planning Permission for Landmark Commercial Development Near Cambridge

Twenty5 are delighted to secure our first full Planning Permission for Wrenbridge & their funding Partner Investec. Wrenbridge are one of our largest and most valued clients, who we have many active projects with, in and around Cambridge. The Abington Scheme, funded by Investec, and located to the west of Cambridge, near to the Babraham and Genome Campuses will see a new State of the art commercial unit, that spans a wide range of flexible use classes (R&D, Light Industrial, Manufacturing, Storage and Distribution).

Key to success was negotiating out any Section 106, broadening the permitted use classes from the draft allocation in the Local Plan and navigating some Tree Preservation Orders. We look forward to assisting the team in delivering the unit to the market for early 2027.
